Supporting a creator

Payments support a creator’s work. They do not purchase AI tokens, API credits, cryptocurrency, equity, ownership rights, or a particular project deliverable. Featured projects and goals describe the creator’s work; funding goes to the creator. We do not promise charitable tax deductibility.

The service provides one-time support and optional monthly sponsorship. It does not include membership tiers, exclusive content, or guaranteed rewards. Review the creator, amount, currency, and payment frequency before paying.

Monthly support and cancellation

If you choose monthly support, the selected amount is charged when you subscribe and renews monthly until canceled. A creator changing suggested amounts does not change your existing subscription.

Use Manage support with the creator’s handle and your checkout email to open Stripe billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and prevents subsequent renewals. It does not automatically refund earlier payments. To change your amount, cancel the existing subscription before starting another.

A creator disabling new monthly support or a page being hidden does not cancel existing subscriptions. Your private receipt and billing-access route remains available. Contact us if you cannot access it.

Payments, fees, and refunds

Stripe processes payments through the creator’s connected account. Buy Me Some Tokens charges creators a 5% platform fee on successful payments. Stripe processing fees also apply and are paid by the creator. Stripe manages payout settings, verification, availability, and timing.

Creators handle refund requests through Stripe. Contact the creator using their profile links, or contact us for help locating them. Refund availability and processing depend on the payment and applicable requirements. A dispute or refund may reduce a displayed goal’s progress.

Creators are responsible for accurate account details and their applicable tax and reporting obligations. Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement and applicable Stripe terms govern its payment services. Payment eligibility varies by country, currency, and verified account status.

Accounts, content, and acceptable use

Provide accurate information, protect your account, and use the service only when you can lawfully agree to these terms and meet the payment provider’s requirements. Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent the work you are funding.

You retain ownership of your content. You give Agentic permission to store, display, and process the content you submit to operate the service. Only upload images and other material you have the right to use.

Do not use the service for fraud, illegal transactions, harassment, infringement, or attempts to compromise accounts or payment systems. We may hide content, pause new payments, or suspend access when investigating abuse or addressing legal or provider requirements. Suspension does not erase payment records or automatically stop existing subscriptions.

Privacy and public sharing

Our Privacy notice describes how information is used. Supporter names and messages appear publicly only with the supporter’s choice to share them and may be moderated. A downloaded share card becomes public only if you choose to share it.

Service changes and account closure

We may update the service and these terms. The date above identifies the current version. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or a creator’s future output.

Contact support to request account closure. Active subscriptions and pending payment matters need to be resolved before a creator account can be closed. Closing an account does not eliminate existing payment obligations or records that must be retained.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
